南京扬子石化英力士乙酰有限责任公司（原名南京扬子石化碧辟乙酰有限责任公司），是由扬子石化有限公司与BP化工投资有限公司（全球五百强企业）在2005年合资设立，双方以50∶50的股比共同出资建设年产50万吨醋酸项目。该项目采用的BP甲醇羧基合成醋酸专利技术，低能耗、低排放；公用工程及原料储运***限度依托扬子石化现有设施，生产成本低，产品竞争性强。2010年底正式投入商业运营。2021年，因外方股东变更为英力士集团，公司更名为南京扬子英力士有限责任公司，简称IYC。
BP YPC Acetyls Company (Nanjing) Ltd.(BYACO) is 50:50 Joint Ventures between YPC and BPCIL(global 500 Fortunes), is building and operating a 500Ktepa world-scale Acetic Acid plant, the company is licensed by BP’s world-leading CATIVA technology, which is with low energy consuming and low emission, and the utilities and logistics are maximally benefited by YPC existing facilities that makes the new JV a very competitive and low cost resource of acetic acid. BYACO has been put into the commercial operation from the end of 2010. In 2021,due to the change of foreign shareholder to INEOS Group, the company was renamed INEOS YPC Acetyls Company(Nanjing) Ltd.(short for IYC)
