Key Responsibilities

1.)  Safety management

Follow safety instruction of all involved equipment to ensure personal safety.

2.)    Product Performance Assessment 

  Maintain the testing equipment and ensure their good condition

  Arrange internal/external testing, analysis results and report regularly including the samples from regional plants.

  Identify appropriate testing methods & equipment to meet new product development needs

  Product composition analysis, identify the pros and cons.

3.)    New Product Development

  Follow Stage Gate process (new product introduction), understand the requirements of new products

  Create formula series, conduct trials to identity the solutions, coordinate with global product conformity team when necessary.

  Validate the design against product requirements.

  Create master-recipe specifications.

  4.) Raw Material Evaluation

  Evaluate the impact of material change in benchmark formula by conducting tests/trials including physical test, rheometer, foaming, mixing, milling etc.

  Adapt the change and make changes proposal to meet the defined technical requirements.

  Coordinate line trials and validate.

5.)    Enhance of testing Capability of TCC-APAC

    Identify additional equipment needed to complete necessary tests and get quotes for CAPEX budget for the following years.

  Collect relevant documents to raise M-request.

6)    AGTS(Armacell Global Testing System)

    Maintain ATP(Armacell Test Procedure) list

    regional validation chart and qualification matrix

    Follow AGTS to carry out MSA, Round Robin etc to ensure a healthy testing system (Leve

7.)    Product Specification Management

    Manage product specification in cooperation with regional technical managers.

8.)    Regulatory compliance

    Follow-up regulations  and collect the latest version, including REACH, RoHS, National product standard etc.

    Work closely with external lab to understand the potential changes.

Requirements:

1.)  Bachelor’s degree or above in Polymer Science and Engineering, Chemistry.

2.)  Minimum 3 years solid experience in the relevant industry of Rubber or Plastic.

3.)  Strong communication skill and interpersonal skills.

4.)  Familiar with chemical product testing, quality analysis tool.

5.)  Familiar with government law and product standard.

6.)  Good writing, reading and fluent oral speaking skills of English required.
