Objectives: - Supervision and organization of the routine and preventive maintenance work in company in compliance with the maintenance plan and technical service requests.
- To ensure a trouble free and safe operation of the process units through strict equipment management.
- To carry out necessary instrument test, verification, and calibration as scheduled by the authorities in close cooperation with departments involved.
- To be jointly responsible for the application and implementation of the Standard procedure for the Safe Work permit for all instrument works carried out in plant.
- To carry out technical modification with the other process engineers.
- To check spare parts storage situation and prepare critical spare parts timely.
- Regular manpower training of the maintenance team with track records.
Main Tasks: - To lead and to supervise a team of fitters and welders in carrying out systematic instrument maintenance work whenever or necessary.
- To arrange for manpower and overtime work as necessary.
- To receive the request form for Technical Services and to allocate the works to the fitters and welders according to the urgency required meeting the time schedule.
- To issue a daily report to the Maintenance SI on works done and planned.
- To issue the Safe Work Permit in accordance with the Standard Procedure in order to obtain approval before commencement of the works.
- To ensure safety compliance in all works situation according to the company regulations.
- To carry out systematic checks on functioning of instruments to determine near failure conditions and to take remedial action in close cooperation with the departments involved.
- To determine the materials and spare part requirements for each particular work and scheduled regular maintenance job and issue the material requisition form for approval by head of Engineering. To control the usage of materials and spare parts and to segregate replaced parts for scrap or reconditioning and to organize the scrap disposal after obtaining approval by Head of Engineering.
- To record and to submit materials and spare parts requirement before or after each work and to report the maintenance SI on variation on materials used if any.
- To carry out any other functions as maybe assigned by the superiors.
Requirements: - Education: Bachelor’s degree or above, Automation/ Electric & Instrument integration Engineering
- Working Experience:
- At least 3 years Petrochemical, chemical plant maintenance or engineering experience.
- Technical & Professional Knowledge:
- Collaborative hands on attitude,
- Well organized, precise working attitude
- Fluent English communication skills
